For the Tofu

  • 400 g Extra firm or firm tofu cubed
  • 2 Tsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tsp oil or use sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tsp rice flour
  • 1/2 Tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the pressed and diced tofu with the soy sauce, rice flour, and garlic powder. After mixing well and letting it sit for a moment, add the corn starch and toss to coat.
  • This tofu may be pan-fried by transferring it to a skillet over medium-high heat, adding 2 teaspoons of oil, and then adding the tofu. Cook the tofu until most of the sides are crisp and brown, and then put it aside.

  • Toss the tofu, either baked or fried, thoroughly to coat.
  • Serve over rice, or cooked grains.
