A Tiramisu is a coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with mascarpone cheese mixture .

The way it just melts in your mouth creates a profound taste that is rarely experienced by anyone. This is definitely a must try for a regular.

Many associate this dessert as a challenge, but in reality it is not that hard to cook.

Before we start, check out the video:


  • 400 Grams of Mascarpone
  • 5 Egg yolks
  • 150ml of Sugar
  • 400ml Whipping Cream
  • 200ml of Espresso
  • Ladyfingers
  • Cacao Powder

Full Recipe:

  1. Beat the mascarpone well in a bowl and till light and airy.
  2. Next beat the egg yolks and the sugar over warm water in in a bowl.
  3. The mixture, should be light and fluffy.
  4. Once finished, Add the the egg mixture into the mascarpone and beat well.
  5. In another bowl, beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Combine the whipping cream into the egg mixture in parts and fold well.
  7. Only start with a layer of ladyfingers dipped into espresso for seconds and then add the cream mixture and repeat that twice.
  8. Chill overnight
  9. Dust with cocoa powder and serve once it is out of the fridge.
